Creamy Garlic Bacon Chicken Thighs

Creamy and Garlicky chicken that is Finger-Licking good! And not to mention this is a one Pan recipe that will take you under 30 minutes to prepare!

Ingredients:

  • 4 Chicken Thighs – skin on and bone in
  • 4 Pieces of Bacon
  • 1 small sweet onion
  • 1/2 cup of Heavy cream 
  • 6-8 garlic cloves
  • Salt and pepper 
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil or butter 
  • Juice of 1/2 of a Lemon
  • Fresh Herbs – Optional 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Wash and Pat dry the Chicken
  2. Season well with Salt and pepper on both sides
  3. Dice the onion and Bacon. Mince the Garlic cloves. 
  4. Add butter or oil to a pan on medium heat. Add Chicken skin side down first. Sear for 2-3 minutes ( until golden brown) and flip to the other side.
  5. Cook for another 2-3 minutes. (chicken should be almost cooked through). Remove chicken to a separate plate. 
  6. Lower the heat to low-medium. Add the onions, bacon and minced garlic. Mix often. 
  7. Once onion and bacon has cooked through. Add your chicken back to the pan. Let it cook together for another couple minutes or until chicken is completely cooked through. 
  8. Add the lemon juice, heavy cream and fresh herbs (optional). Season more if needed at this time. Close lid.
  9. Once heavy cream has evaporated, remove from heat. 

Serve with Mashed potatoes or Pasta!
