15 Minute meal of delicious chicken pieces that are smothered in a sticky, sweet, and savory sauce that is absolutely delicious!
Ingredients
- 2 Lb of boneless skinless chicken thighs or breast
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 7-8 garlic cloves minced
- 4-5 tablespoons Honey
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- Green onions, Fresh or dry herbs, optional
- 1 Tbsp flour or corn starch optional (to thicken the sauce)
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into small bite sized pieces. (Note, if using chicken breast, it will cook faster and can get really dry if overcooked.Make sure all your ingredients are ready!)
- Heat oil and butter in a large skillet on high heat.
- Add the chicken to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until has a nice sear. 3-4 min.
- Add garlic, vinegar and honey. Mix until chicken is coated.
- Simmer sauce and chicken to caramelize the outside for another another 2-3 minutes. (At this point you can also add flour or corn starch to thicken the sauce)
- Top with green onions or herbs. Serve over rice or with mashed potatoes!
