Ingredients
- 2 packets (14 grams) unflavored gelatin
- 16 oz sour cream
- 16 oz cool whip thawed
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 5 Tbsp Cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1 packet unflavored gelatin
- 5 Tbsp sugar
- 5 Tbsp milk
- 1 cup cold water
Instructions
- In a saucepan combine 2 packets of gelatin with 1 cup milk.
- Whisk on medium heat until it just begins to steam (do not boil) remove from heat
- Spray an 11 x 13 glass baking dish with cooking spray
- Using an electric mixer whisk together sugar, sour cream and cook whip until well blended.
- Slowly add the milk mixture while whisking.
- Immediately pour into your dish and smooth the top. Refrigerate to cool.
- For the chocolate layer- In a small sauce pan, combine cocoa powder, sugar, and gelatin. Add in cold water and milk.
- Place over medium heat and bring to a boil while mixing continuously until mixture is smooth. Let it cool for 1 hour.
- Slowly pour the chocolate portion onto the cream and let it set overnight. Enjoy!
