Cheesy Beef Stuffed Shells

These easy cheesy beef stuffed shells use everyday ingredients and come together without much effort! These make a comforting family-friendly recipe.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Jumbo Pasta Shells 
  • 16 oz ground beef 
  • 1 small yellow onion 
  • 8 oz tomato, marinara, or spaghetti sauce 
  • 6 oz shredded Mexican cheese or cheddar 
  • 1 tsp flour 
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream 
  • Oil 2 tbsp for frying 
  • Salt and pepper per taste 

Instructions

  1. Boil pasta shells per box instructions.
  2. On low-medium heat fry diced onions in oil.
  3. Add ground beef and cook for about 2 minutes. should still be slightly pink.
  4. Season lightly and add flour, mix well.
  5. Add tomato sauce, heavy cream, and 1/2 the cheese. Mix well, season per taste.
  6. To a large baking casserole add a couple of tablespoons of the beef mixture to the bottom and spread evenly.
  7. Stuff each shell with about 1 tbsp beef filling and layer side by side in the casserole.
  8. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese all over the pasta shells.
  9. Bake at 350 for 7-10 minutes or until the cheese has melted through.
