These easy cheesy beef stuffed shells use everyday ingredients and come together without much effort! These make a comforting family-friendly recipe.
Ingredients
- 12 oz Jumbo Pasta Shells
- 16 oz ground beef
- 1 small yellow onion
- 8 oz tomato, marinara, or spaghetti sauce
- 6 oz shredded Mexican cheese or cheddar
- 1 tsp flour
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Oil 2 tbsp for frying
- Salt and pepper per taste
Instructions
- Boil pasta shells per box instructions.
- On low-medium heat fry diced onions in oil.
- Add ground beef and cook for about 2 minutes. should still be slightly pink.
- Season lightly and add flour, mix well.
- Add tomato sauce, heavy cream, and 1/2 the cheese. Mix well, season per taste.
- To a large baking casserole add a couple of tablespoons of the beef mixture to the bottom and spread evenly.
- Stuff each shell with about 1 tbsp beef filling and layer side by side in the casserole.
- Sprinkle the rest of the cheese all over the pasta shells.
- Bake at 350 for 7-10 minutes or until the cheese has melted through.
