Cream Cheese Banana Bread

Take Banana Bread to the next Level with Delicious Cream Cheese Swirls in between the layers. Go ahead and double the recipe if you want any seconds!

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Ripe Bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup sugar ( i used coconut sugar)
  • 1 Teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/5 cups flour ( i used sprouted whole wheat)
  • 8 oz Cream cheese room temperature
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Flour ( i used sprouted whole wheat)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 5×9 loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • Peel and mash the bananas
  • Stir in melted butter, egg, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Stir well.
  • Add flour and stir well.
  • In another bowl, beat together all the ingredients for the cream cheese filling.
  • Pour half the banana bread batter into baking pan.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture on top
  • Then top with the remaining banana bread Batter.
  • Bake for 55-60 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean
