This one pan chicken breast recipe takes less than 20 minutes to make! It is creamy, juicy and so perfect over pasta, mashed potatoes or rice.
Ingredients
- 4 large chicken breasts
- 1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter, 2 tbsp oil
- Salt & Pepper per taste
- Fresh herbs or scallions, chives to garnish
Instructions
- Rinse and pat dry the chicken. Pound the chicken until even all around.
- Generously season with salt and pepper.
- Add oil to a skillet on med-high heat. Add chicken breasts.
- Sear about 2 minutes per side. Remove to the side.
- Add butter, cream of mushroom, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese and seasoning per taste.
- Add chicken back to the skillet and simmer until chicken is cooked through with closed lid.
- Remove from heat and let the chicken rest for a couple minutes in its cream to thicken up before serving.
