Easy Tuna Cakes

Sometimes the simplest meals are the tastiest! These are affordable, tasty and so quick and easy to make. Even your kiddos will love this recipe!

Ingredients

  • 5 oz canned tuna
  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese
  • salt and pepper per taste
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • optional add ins: chopped onions, celery, tomatoes, pickles

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a large bowl- tuna, mayo, eggs, baking powder and flour. Season per taste. Mix well until no chunks.
  2. Add the cheese and mix again.
  3. On low-medium heat add oil to a large skillet.
  4. Add 1 tbsp of tuna mix and slightly flatten the top. Fry for about 1 minute or until golden brown. Flip to the other side and fry for about another minute or till golden brown.
  5. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel. Serve right away with a light salad or simply dip into your favorite sauce!
