Teriyaki Shrimp

Ingredients:
1. 1 Lb thawed medium size Shrimp peeled and deveined
2. 2 Tbsp teriyaki sauce or glaze(I use store bought, see picture)
3. 1 Tbsp flour or cornstarch
4. Seasoning (depends how salty your sauce is, you may not need to add anymore salt)
5. Oil spray
6. Optional: Sesame seeds, scallions, skewers (this recipe will make about 10-12 skewers using 6inch skewer’s)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse and pat try shrimp. Add to bowl
  2. Add seasoning and flour. Mix
  3. Add 2Tbsp teriyaki sauce and mix again.
  4. Thread the shrimp onto skewers (optional)
  5. Lay out the shrimp one by one or the skewers onto well greased hot pan on medium heat.
  6. Sear the shrimp for about a minute per side. This may vary depending on the size of shrimp. Flip once pink
  7. Add the rest of the teriyaki sauce on top.
  8. Optional: Sprinkle sesame seeds and top with chopped scallions

Tip: These are amazing grilled as well. If grilling- do NOT add the flour. It will burn and dry the shrimp. You can glaze more sauce while they are grilling.
